R6700 no 2.4

I can’t get 2.4 to show up on my phone so I can add a doorbell camera. Not sure what to do.

    On the front panel, are both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi indicator LED’s illuminated white?

     

    If you do not know which LED’s to look at, go to the top of the page here and download the manual for your router.  See page 10.

     

    If both Wi-Fi indicator LED’s are illuminated, log in to the user interface and find Basic Wi-Fi settings and use a separate and unique SSID for both the 2.4 GHz band and the 5 GHz band.  Start on page 114.

     

    Both your 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band SSID’s should show up on your phone.  You may have to restart your router.

     

    What modem or ONT is your router connected to?
