R6700 Router Randomly Resets
I have an older nighthawk 6700, 4 years old or so. It started to randomly reset itself. After a few days this resetting/rebooting happened more and more. So, figuring that it might be a power supp...

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Circle, Traffic Meter.
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

So, make a guess... The wireless doesn't seem to be an issue even though the channels are different. The issue is that the whole router resets itself.

All the items you wanted disabled were already disabled.

Try a factory reset on the router and setup from scratch? Press the reset button for 10 seconds then release.
WIred connect 1 PC to the router and setup from scratch using a web browser.
Might setup the router with it disconnected from the ISP modem to see if the router reboots after it's setup...if not, reconnect to the modem.Power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back on as well.
Swap LAN cables between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.

Factory reset has been done, upgrades for the new unit have been done. Both the new and old units continue to reset themselves. They will reset when not connected to anything except power but it is a bit harder to spot it since flashing lights help draw attention to the reset.
I think I will return the new one since it is new. Bottom line, these units do not seem to work and even with different software they don't work. After some research online this resetting issue is not only for this model router. The company has this issue with other models as well. It appears to be a common issue. Why all of a sudden the old unit started doing this I don't know, maybe a software update? I turned off auto updates and it still resets. I have run on different power outlets/circuits and the issue continues.
Frustrating. I have a much older netgear router at a different location and it runs like a champ.

Does this happen with the router NOT connected to the ISP modem and disabling the wifi radios on the router and nothing connected to the router like LAN devices?
