Last nights experiments.....
Ran router with AC power line metered to monitor for input power fluctuation. It took a while but finally got 3 resets with no power line issues. 117.7Vac to 121.2Vac. So, power is good.
Turned off the radios. Ran a test all night to detect any resets. (have to sleep sooner or later) In the morning, no reset events detected!
Turned the radios back on and took a shower (need to scrub a dub dub once in a while too) and it took 17 minutes until a reset event.
So, I don't believe that there is some magicl RF event that can reset routers at will. My guess is that the Netgear power supplies are faulty. One took 4 years to get into this failure mode and the new one must have come defective. Most likely it is the wall wart that is an issue but it really doesn't matter if it is that or an internal component, like a regulator, that is the root cause.
I am going to return the new one, it is defective.
This may explain the numerous issues like mine that people have documented in the past with the router, and a few others.

Try getting another power supply with same volts and amps. Doesn't have to be same branded power adapter just as long as the volts and amps and plug in is the same.
