R6700 V2: cannot access web portal after enabling HTTPS.

Yesterday I turned on the HTTPS option on the web portal now I cannot access the router using routerlogin.net.

What I have tried:

1. Tried wifi 2.4 or 5 Hz but not routerlogin.net page is not loading

2. Tried a wired connection but not routerlogin.net page is not loading

 

What's working:

1. Internet is working on 2.4 and 5 Hz both channels without issue.

2. Mobile app (nighthawk app) is connecting to the router locally successfully, However, the option to disable the HTTPS option is not available there.

 

I can reset the router and reconfigure that's not an issue but wanted to understand why it's not working when the manual says otherwise.

      Yes, I tried with the IP address but same issue.

      additionally, I can ping the router successfully.

        could always factory reset and start over with https disabled.
