r6700 v3 bad firmware (still)
it's blatantly obvious and well disseminated that the most recent firmware, R6700v3-V1.0.4.128_10.0.104, has resulted in capped speeds. with such deliberate action by netgear to not resolve the situation by now.. since august, may i ask what are they waiting for? quite a serious level of garbage human behavior i might say.

Either works. But if you want help, more details on your setup, your results, and what you've tried helps.
But one of the reasons you don't see much movement on things like this is the fact the the R6700 was released in 2014. Its a 8 year old device. Yes they do occasionally get updates but its not going to be with the same frequency. And there's not going to be nearly as many people assigned watching for issues with it versus their flagship or more recent devices.
