When do I choose between 2.5 and 5G
2.4ghz is a slower network but broadcasts futher and through more materials. Plus it suffers from more interference from other 2.4ghz devices.
5ghz is much much faster but doesn't broadcast as far or through as much materials.
when to choose?
If its a device that needs faster speeds for streaming/downloading/gaming, and it can get a good 5ghz signal, then it should be on the 5ghz device.
if its a lower bandwidth device or far away from the router, then the 2.4ghz might be better.
