R6700v2 minidlna causing severe performance degradation and eventual hang

My R6700V2 starts bogging down and eventually hangs. I've been able to isolate the issue to the minidlna process. Just after a reboot, I will telnet in and run top.  The minidlna process is always on...

    What is the firmware version of the router? 

    Was this working before? 

     

    Please make sure that you have the latest firmware installed (1.2.0.16) and factory reset the router.
