others have stated that the 1.0.4.120 FW does not fix the DNS issue. The next release should. Enginneering does have the fix. Cant answer about other issues, as i have only worked on the DNS.

I found an "almost" fix!
Last night I changed the router's MTU from 1500 down to 1470 and it works much better now. Below is where to change the setting
- RouterConsole : Advanced : Setup : WAN Setup : MTU Size (in bytes) - the number to change is on the right
My internet is almost back to normal now but still has problems at times (getting into the Netgear Community is the worst) but I can log into accounts on the first try, my kids Steam games load now, and my internet speed is at 110%. Netgear still needs a fix though.
Here's a video that explains how to find the optimal MTU setting for your computer. I pinged www.google.com instead of techrepublic. Once I found my optimal MTU size I changed it in my router. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/technology/how-to-optimize-the-mtu-setting-on-your-router-for-better-performance/ar-BB1d5peR.

still having the issue with the 1.0.4.120 firmware. Using Firefox, have to keep hitting the retry button , doesn't matter what browser I use.
