R6700v3 VPN Service

The R6700v3 router shows "VPN Service" as a greyed out option. Does this mean it is absolutely not available for my router or it would be available if some other choice like "Bridge Mode" were turned off as suggested by a Netgear post I have viewed. I need a VPN connection. If this router can't do it then I will have to seek other options.

    Are you using bridge mode?

    Or access point mode?

I must assume that it may be access point mode since I do not see bridge mode as an option to turn off or on. Nor do I see Access Point as a choice. I have been lead to believe from other sources that the Advanced Setting area (attached photo) was where I would find the Bridge Mode option. I have also read that VPN Service may not even be an option for this hardware. The choice may be there because the basic set up may apply to many Netgear routers and it just happens that the R6700v3 does not allow for it. Can someone confirm that? Do you have VPN service through your R6700v3 router?
