R6900 wifi switch / button

I pressed the wifi switch on the top of the Nighthawk R6900. Pressing it again does not activate wifi again. Is there a sequence I need to follow to activate wifi?

    I actually had to power the router off and hold the wifi switch when powered back on. Wifi did not return until I depressed the wifi switch again.

Press it longer until the WiFi LED is lit.
