Hi,

 

Could you show me how to do that?  what is ntp?

 

I am currently using an xfinity cable modem and I'm setting my netgear as an access point to that I could connect to my "Readyshare" external disk drive.

log in through the browser and go to

Advanced tab--->administration----->ntp settings

You can change the time server. maybe yours isn't syncing for some reason.

    Under my Advanced tab --> Admin, I don't see 'NTP settings'.

     

    I only see:

    1. 'router status'

    2. 'logs' (which showed a default date Sep 2021 - and it's wrong)

    3. 'attached devices'

    4. 'back up settings'

    5. 'router update'

     

    (see screenshot).

     

    I clicked around and failed to find any option for me to change date/time.

    Do you have any other suggestions?

      I don't have that specific router to test with but thats where it is on my orbi.
