My R6900P router currently has firmware version V1.3.2.134 Both the Nighthawk app and the NetGear Genie app report that the firmware is up to date. However, the NetGear support page lists V1.3.3...

Manual update is the method I usually recommend. Especially if you can do it hardwired.
You should be able to jump all the way to the latest version (.148) without issues

- plemansApr 16, 2022Guru - Experienced Usershould be able to. Its pretty rare to have to go in a stepped system. Only usually happens if they have to extend the firmware partition. And that doesn't happen often.
