R6900P ROUTER OPENVPN MAC OS 12

Hello All:

I am trying to install the open VPN files on my iPhone 12 running iOS 12.1. I have followed the instructions given in the user manual for generating the client files. When I mail them to myself they appear as a zip file attachment. I then save the zip file to my iPhone locally to a folder named VPN. I navigate to the folder VPN and unpack the zip file. A folder is created called smartphone. In the folder arefour files ca.crt, client.crt, client and cleint3.ovpn. I then share the client3.ovpn file to the opvn app and I get the following error when I hit add:  failed to pause profile: ca.crt, client.crt and client.key. 

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!
