R6900v2 access point or bridge mode for Sonos
I have been battling this issue now for almost a year. I have 2 routers. The primary router is where the internet comes into my house. From there, I have an Ethernet cable that runs approximately 125 ...

leave the primary router managing it. Sonos will struggle with double nats.
So having the primary in router mode and the 2nd one in access point mode leaves the primary managing it. It should help with the sonos but you still might need to change some settings in the sonos or set them with static ip address. Their forums will know more about streamlining their setup with router/access point systems.

When you say AP mode doesn't work, what actually happens?
Are you using multiple sonos devices? they're notorious with issues with mesh systems if you search on their forums.

I have a Sonos system in my house that is connected to the primary router. Then, I have a system in my garage that is connected to the secondary router (routers are connected to each other via cat 6 ethernet cable). When the garage router is in access point mode, the Sonos system in garage will work anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes, then it loses connection. I am looking for a solution as I have a working area and guest area in garage. Is this doable using existing set up? Should I be using different hardware in garage like an extender, etc? I was under the impression that I could utilize the secondary router as either a bridge or access point to run devices in garage. So in short, to answer your question, the system works sporadically. Thanks for any help/advice you can offer.

The AP mode should be the answer. Do any other devices have issues?
if not, i'd post on the sonos forums to see what they users on there would recommend. I've seen issues with running multiple AP's and sonos but not sure of the proper answer- JellikitDec 15, 2022Guide
I other than switching the router to an access point, and verifying it is in AP mode, are there any other internal router settings that need tweaked?
will post it to Sonos. I appreciate the help.
