R6900v2 access point or bridge mode for Sonos
I have been battling this issue now for almost a year. I have 2 routers. The primary router is where the internet comes into my house. From there, I have an Ethernet cable that runs approximately 125 ...
leave the primary router managing it. Sonos will struggle with double nats.
So having the primary in router mode and the 2nd one in access point mode leaves the primary managing it. It should help with the sonos but you still might need to change some settings in the sonos or set them with static ip address. Their forums will know more about streamlining their setup with router/access point systems.
The MAC addresses for the speakers that are in the garage are showing up on the primary router. Is this because the secondary router is in AP mode? Or should I not allow them on the primary router, and reconfigure them only in the secondary router?
