I'm running a pihole on my server and when I change the DNS in the router it says it's been changed to 192.169.1.243 but all my network devices show the DNS as 192.168.1.1. I've tried rebooting everything, different firmware. Nothing works. Any ideas?

That's where you are wrong, the dns should show my dns server not the routers ip

That is the router's IP address unless you have changed it. What it should show, and why it does not show it, is another matter that I carefully avoided. Which is why I suggested places where you could look. It isn't Netgear's job to tell you how to configure your system for PiHole.

I don't need help with my pihole, its been config for the last 4 years, I switch to this router and the router won't change to the DNS I set it to. maybe you should actually read a post instead of doing your copy and paste you do on everyones post that has the word pihole in it. The router isn't forwarding the dns request to the ip I set it to.

The computer (from the 1 screenshot) is getting the DNS from the router when you're using pihole. But the router is getting its dns from the pihole and not the isp. So its setup correctly, its just being viewed a little wrong. If you're wanting to individually program each device to get the DNS from the pihole, you program it in each device. Otherwise leave each device running with the router supplying the DNS. So when the request hits the router, the router sends it to the pihole. I have a similar setup with router/pihole and mine shows the same. I can track my pihole blocking stats as well. I'm also using ipv6 and pointed my IPv6 internet settings at the piholes ipv6 address. What issue is it causing? Some details on what issue you're having might help

That's your router's IP address.
