R6900v2 lost connection and wont reboot

2 days ago, my router randomly lost connection. I tried turning it in and off again. Nope. I tried unplugging it for a day. Nope. Attempted factory reset countless times. Nope. I've tried replacing the power cord. Nada. No matter what, the only lights that are on are the power (orange) and the 1 ethernet input. It won't even show up on the app. I don't know what to do, I really don't wanna have to buy a new router

    The amber light suggests a problem with your router.

    The R6900v2 is an older generation router which means that it may also responds to the alternative reset option.

     

    You could try this;

    • Press reset for 30 seconds
    • Keep pressing reset while removing power
    • Keep pressing reset for another 30 seconds while apply power

    It isn't advised on newer routers, but your device may respond to this move.
