R700 Wan goes offline overnight and needs to be reset.

I had this issue last  year and simply went to a net gear with Satelites to solve it. (in that case range was also an issue)

In this instance I installed an R7000 and connected to a Fiber connection using a fixed IP. I then connected 10 workstatioins and tested signal strength and up/download speeds (we have 50u and 50d)  The results for all workstations was between 49 and 51 up and down.

Ran tested and configured a print manager and shared printer and for 5+ hours everything was fine.  The next morning came in and workstations could not connect to the internet, they could print, so that implies that the lan was working but not the wan connectioin.  The router, however, showed blue lights indicating a solid connection.

I tried to connect using the phone app and itindicated that the router was offline.  After 1/2 hour or so router connected and was good for the remainer of the day.

This morning I could not connect with the phone app (device offline) and again at the office no internet, and the router was showing all blue lights.  I power cycled the router and it came up, connected and starting working correctly.

Another unit in my building has fiber and indicate they were online with no issues.

I seem to recall that there was a feature for gaming that was enabled by default and could cause connection issues but I could not find any reference to it.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated

Leon
