I've been running the 1.0.11.122 firmware for a few days now, which solved the problem with the timeserver!

Hard to see how using a particular wifi client will cause the router to change its time.
I chip in simply because i have the same Samsung phone and have never seen anything like this when using the Android app.
If this is the Nighthawk App for Android, the version number looks wrong:

I have 2.8.5.1416 on my Samsung A5.

Did indeed receive the Android 2.8.5.1416 update last week.

What are the NTP settings on the router?
- Advanced
- Administration
- NTP Settings

I searched forums but there was indeed little to be found about it ...
My NTP settings:
These are the settings when I have connected to the router via WiFi with the Nighthawk app and log in to the router again:
When time is resynchronized, or after reboot, it has been adjusted to wrong time zone:
Even if I use an preferred NTP server (pool.ntp.org) the same thing happens.
