Anything else to try, or should I assume the router 2.4g is gone.
thanks much, Mike
The second LED indicator from the right side is a combination indicator and switch. Press and hold for 2 seconds and the Wi-Fi radios will be turned off. You may have to toggle them on/off a couple of times.
It sometimes helps to do the firmware default reset a couple of times waiting a few minutes in between cycles.
If these do not help, it is safe to assume your 2.4 GHz radio is gone.

Thanks much,
It seems to be working now, though the light doesn't work. I did a reset (pressing the knob in the hole) which didn't seem to work, but our electricity wnet off 3 times a few hours later (Los Angeles winds) and then it seemed to work. Maybe that is similar to doing the reset a few times like you suggested.
When I added the app to my phone, I also changed some setting so it automatically goes from 2.4g to 5 and back, if that mattered. I assume that is why the tv no longer shows separate 2.4 and 5 options to connect to.
Out of curiosity, is the "firmware default reset" you suggested or the "hard reset" suggested by JWS different than pushing in that button with a tiny screwdriver.
thanks for the suggestions.
