R7000 amber light when connected to Motorola MB7621 modem
Xfinity 200 MBps service. Connecting computer directly to router via Ethernet cable I get 240Mbps on Speedtest. When I connect the modem to the router (yellow port to yellow port), the router Internet...
power off the modem and router. disconnect the coax cable from the modem and all devices from both. Wait 2 minutes.
Then connect coax back to the modem. power it on and wait a couple minutes for it to fully boot.
Then connect it to wan port on r7000.
power the router on and wait a couple minutes.
Try setup/usage.
