R7000 as a WAP
I have just gotten this R7000 wifi router to work alongside my Nighthawk C7000v2 as an Access Point. When I try to follow the instructions in this article... https://kb.netgear.com/24104/How-do-I-c...

Configuring an R7000 WAP will give it a new LAN IP address. By
default ("Get dynamically from existing router"), it'll get that new
address from (the DHCP server in) your main router (C7000). Hence, an
an "Attached Devices" report from your main router should tell you what
the new address of your R7000-as-WAP is. Point your web browser at that
IP address.
It might improve convenience if you reserve a (memorable) LAN IP
address on the main router for the R7000-as-WAP. (Then restart.) Look
for "Address Reservation" in the main-router User Manual.

so.... when I run the ethernet wire from the C7000 to the "yellow" connection on the R7000, it does show up on my list of devices, but if I plug that url address into the search bar I get a "failed to open page" message. If I plug the wire into any of the other LAN ports, like the above tutorial shows, it doesn't show up in the attached devices list.

"https://<whatever>" over "http://<whatever>", but only
"http://<whatever>" will work in this situation.> [...] If I plug the wire into any of the other LAN ports, like the

out the WAN/Internet port, not any of the LAN ports. That KB article is
pretty vague about the wiring. (A yellow cable and a yellow port are
different things.) That's why we read the User Manual.- TmarkreisFeb 14, 2021Aspirant
unfortunately adding http://.... doesn't make any difference, I was just typing 192.168.0.33 into the url window. I even tried using a different browser in case Safari was the issue, just trying anything.
As I had said, I did do a reset on it, is there something else or some other trick to try in the reset process??
