I've tried for a week and can't get 1.0.5.48_1.1.79 to download.
I also tried downloading the zip file, but when I went to unzip, it says not a valid format.
I would really like to upgrade since my version is getting pretty old since I flashed the memory.
What else can I try????

Have you tried downloading using other PCs?
I'm actually having trouble accessing the 'Downloads' page right now, I'm at work but even so can normally access it here, so I'm guessing that there may be server-side issues. If this is still the case at the end of today I will contact Netgear (or another moderator might check in the mean-time).

Yes, I've tried using 3 computers here in the house. All of them do the same thing. The zip file won't unzip and says its corrupt!

Hi.
What work for me is in the download page when the popup said to register again, I enter ALL THE DATA with the Router SN and click register and download.
That was the only valid way to get a valid file.
Hope this work for you.

It seems the Download server is down, so I suggest that you wait until the server is available again and repeat the download.
