"up-to-date" isn't always good when it comes to the R7000. Its got issues. Try downgrading the firmware on the R7000 to the .42 version, factory resetting, and manually re-installing. See if that fixes it.

Sad that that R7000 firmware has so many issues but at least the .42 is stable and works well.
