If you've been changing the attached device (router or PC) that connects to the modem you'll have a problem connecting as the modem is looking for a specific MAC Address.
Here is what you need to do:
- POWER all PC's, the ROUTER, and the MODEM OFF
- Next power ON the MODEM and wait for it to come on line (lights all basically on, but some might flash), a few minuted maybe depending on the modem.
- Next power ON the router and wait for it to fully come up, again, a few minutes.
- Next the PC and all the wireless to connect, the wired ones will automatically.
That should fix it.

I'd leave QoS OFF and make sure WMM is on.
Since you turned off WiFi then you are connect hard wired to the router, correct? First try using the same wire to the modem and see what speed you get. You must turn off the power to both the modem and router as well so the modem recognizes the PC. Now check the speed. If it is 50Mbps or higher, good. Now turn off the modem and reconnect the router to it and the PC to the router. Now power them up, Modem first, then the router, then the PC. Now test the speed again.
If it still is LOW, verify the router to modem cable is good? Use a different cable if low.
I'll assume, but can't be sure what you are complaining about though. Most of your post seems to be about wireless, but you said you eliminated wireless from your modem/router?
The above testing I posted is for a wired connection, and that is the only sure way to tell if you are getting full speed. Wireless not always can reach that full speed.
Now if you are talking about WIRELESS, what speed is the device you have, AC/N/G? How far away from the router is it? What is your Security set too? What are you using to test? I ask because I have an older iPad that has a single antennea and even though I have 100Mbps service I only see 30Mbps or less on it. My new iPad Pro however has multiple antennae's and it reads over 100Mbps.
So more info would be better here. Disabling QoS will help if you are on wireless, but verify with a wired connection that the router CAN deliver 50Mbps first.
