R7000 doesnt meet half of what my wifi spwed should be.
Ive changed channels, upgrades QoS, eliminated wifi from base modem/router and nothing. Of the 50 mbs Im suppposed to see, I only get, if lucky 20. At an average, I see 10. Are there otuer tweaks I ca...

If you've been changing the attached device (router or PC) that connects to the modem you'll have a problem connecting as the modem is looking for a specific MAC Address.
Here is what you need to do:
- POWER all PC's, the ROUTER, and the MODEM OFF
- Next power ON the MODEM and wait for it to come on line (lights all basically on, but some might flash), a few minuted maybe depending on the modem.
- Next power ON the router and wait for it to fully come up, again, a few minutes.
- Next the PC and all the wireless to connect, the wired ones will automatically.
That should fix it.
I have all hardwired items connected to the modem/router provided by the ISP. The R7000 is serving as a wifi router and it is wired to the modem/router as well. I have wifi turned off on the modem and any wifi in the house is coming from the R7000.
I subscribe to 50/50 f rom the ISP. I get approximately that hard wired. With the 6300 i averaged 35 mps down and 45 mps up. With the R7000. I am well below 20 mps down and about 35 mps up. Its supposed to be a better router. No tweaks other than the QoS switch mentioned above.
Now I cant even sign on to the router page. Im getting an error message. Seems to be getting worst by the hour. So disappointed.

What MODE is the router in may I ask? Advanced Tab, Advanced Setup, Router / AP / Bridge / Repeating Mode shows what mode you are in, possibly AP?
The modem should be in BRIDGED mode and then connected to the Router which serves the wired and wireless devices. If the modem can produce wireless signals it is not in Bridged mode. However I don't think this matters.
What IS the error message?
Open a COMMAND PROMPT and enter IPCONFIG /ALL and paste in the Ethernet section please, it should look like this:
