Yes, I am able to do it,
but how to do it on the schedule?
Is this a bug that needs to be fixed or is there a work around for it?
I don't want to be around switching the wifi on and off.

the Turn off schedule settings should start with Time OFF and then Time ON..................If the button was set to off on top right side of router then nothing will turn wifi on again until it's pushed again.
I have my wifi on at 2.4 GHz
I am trying to do the schedule off this with 5 GHz
So in some ways the router is switched on and working. Any pointer will be nice

I tried the options, simplified the schedule made it for everyday of the week. Looks like it is working for now. I will add the weekday and weekend schedule next and see if it keeps on working.
