The firmware is v1.0.9.88 and the modem is a Technicolor TC7200.
We didn`t change any parameters in the last months.
We have to do restarts and also did a few reboots, but after about 24 hours, the Error_connection_refused arises again.
All browsers, all devices, even mobile.

1. Try updating to the 1.0.11.123 firmware for the r7000. Then do a factory reset and reinstal.
2. the Technicolor is a modem/router combo device. it can cause a double nat if the technicolor isn't in modem only/passthrough mode, if the netgears IP address isn't in the technicolor's dmz, or if the netgear isn't in access point mode.

In the Nighthawk App, when "checking for firmware updates" it`s always saying "you`re firmware is update to the latest version". It doesn`t allow to select another firmware download or suggests the one you mentioned.

We`ve now manually updated to the .111 version and it seems to be working better.
If the problem will come back again, we`ll work on the router, too, but so far it worked well.
