R7000 Firmware and display issues

I installed a new R700 a few days back.  When I was settting it up, It told me there was an upgrade available.  I did the upgrade.  Now, when I log in, it just brings up blank pages.  Literally a white page is shown.  No text, no links, no nothing.  Now I believe that the pages are still there but I am not able to see them.  I say this because if I move my mouse areound the screen as it passes over hyperlinks the cursor changes.  But I cannot do anything because I cannot see anything.  If I click on one of the invisible links, it just brings up another blank page.

Obviously this is not a good situation because I cannot finish setting up the router.

I was thinking, maybe , the upgrade needs to be run again?  But I cannot do that because I cannot see the links to click.

Any ideas on How to get the firmware gui visible again?

Have you tried a different web browser?

  • Did you reset the router by pushing in the reset button on the back for at least 10 seconds until the lights flash?  New firmware is buggy downgrade to 1.0.4.30 or 1.0.4.28 if you can get the web pages to display.  Then reset again.
