R7000 firmware upgrade with a MacBook
I'm trying to upgrade an R7000 router firmware, the current version is Firmware version: V1.0.11.116_10.2.100 I’ve downloaded: R7000-V1.0.11.134_10.2.119.zip and changed zip to chk and tried to up...
You need to first unpack the .zip file to reveal the actual FW files. Do NOT attampt to open the .chk file.
Use Safar or FireFox or Opera and log into the routers web page and use the routers web page to upload the .chk FW file.
