I am currently on a previous release number V1.0.6.28_1.1.83  Can I update and is it an upgrade?

    Looks good so far.

     

    Seeing signal strength improvement on the 2.4Ghz band.

      chadashcroft Just a reminder, this release still does not include Arlo Support. So, if you're using that feature you will not see that on this firmware release.

      However, feel free to update your firmware using the Update button on the router admin page.

        Thanks...can you paraphrase the best firmware update process for me?   As I understand it its something like;

         

        a.) update using the update button  or manual update ..

        b.) set new firmware to factory defaults

        c.) recycle router again

        d.) key in all my settings again..

        e.) reset again..
