I haven't seen a whole lot of issues with the .136 that you were on.
Did you factory reset?
Is it only the 2.4ghz you have issues with?
Or 5ghz and wired too?
What modem/gateway is it connected to?

I can't remember if i made hard reset for the .136 version.
I'm sure to make hard reset before and after downgrade to 1.0.9.42.
Actually with this version, it seems that the problem occure only with 2.4
The R7000 is connected behind a French box "FreeBox Revolution" on which the wifi is disabled.
The R7000 is only used to "replace" the wifi of my box
my use of wifi is very basic, web, mail, netflix.
Thanks for your answer

Not sure if this answers your questions?
Which firmware version would you recommend?
What replacement hardware (Netgear not netgear)?
Thanks again - plemansApr 17, 2023Guru - Experienced User
turning off wifi doesn't disable a gateways router function.
It still leaves you in a double nat.
Is the R7000 in AP mode?
Have you tried changing the wifi channel for the 2.4ghz?2.4ghz is much more sensitive to interference than 5ghz

Yes

No, i will try
2.4ghz is much more sensitive to interference than 5ghz
But you think i should upgrade to the latest version without problems ?
Thanks again

The latest version has been pretty solid.
If both .42 and the .136 version have had the same issue, I wouldn't suspect the firmware.
I'd be more thinking interference or hardware failure if its specific to one band.
