turning off wifi doesn't disable a gateways router function.
It still leaves you in a double nat.
Is the R7000 in AP mode?
Yes
Have you tried changing the wifi channel for the 2.4ghz?
No, i will try
2.4ghz is much more sensitive to interference than 5ghz
But you think i should upgrade to the latest version without problems ?
Thanks again

The latest version has been pretty solid.
If both .42 and the .136 version have had the same issue, I wouldn't suspect the firmware.
I'd be more thinking interference or hardware failure if its specific to one band.

I will test the latest version this evening with hard reset before and after upgrade by downloading the latest version from here:
https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/R7000/R7000-V1.0.11.136_10.2.120.zip
Is it the good procedure ?
Nothing else to do when upgrading ?
I will have a look to the wifi channel for the 2.4ghz
I will tell you the result tomorow
Thanks again

And in the case of an equipment replacement, what would you advise me? Not necessarily from the netgear brand đ

I had good luck with v.134 with my R7000 when i had it online last year. Worked well:
Might go thru this and see if the configuration I used help. I use manual channels and Smart Connect is enabled along with Beamforming and MIMO.
I also keep a laptop cooler fan running under any router I put online.

After you perform a firmware default reset, you will have to set the configuration of your R7000 back to AP mode.
