R7000 Loses Internet On 5G

I purchased a new R7000 Nighthawk router back in January must have been just around the last firmware release because I remember I manually went out and downloaded the firmware and it was within a few days of its release.

It has been working fine without issue since then then all of the sudden last night it will show I am connected to the 5G side of the network but no internet is available. The 2.4G side is unaffected.

I've been reading about others having this issue a year or so ago that was because of some of firmware which I have verified I do not have. A few others tried to change the channel to a lower channel which I tried as well but to no avail.

I'm to the point of having to reset the router to factory defaults again but figured I would ask if anyone else has had any recent experience with this as looking around I haven't seen others having this issue with the latest firmware.
