Im connected via WiFi and have these problems, my brother who is connected via ethernet, never experiences any issues, im providing that bit of info in case someone asks me to connect via ethernet, I know there is no problems if I am, however I am many rooms away and WiFi is the only option.
Wifi is not the only option. For things that do not move around, an alternative is Powerline Ethernet which uses the mains circuit as an alternative to Ethernet cables.
As plemans says, relying in wifi to connect across many rooms is asking for trouble.

Interesting, I did not know this was an option, so I could plug this into an outlet in my room and run the ethernet directly into my pc?

Yes, powerline works like that.
With the r7000, we used to have to recommend that users with issues used the 1.0.9.42 version. I haven't had to do it in a while because the newer ones have been pretty solid. But maybe yours is one with issues. Have you tried the older version of firmware?

I have not yet, ive only tried to do a factory reset. Is it complicated to roll back to older firmwares?

Yes. If the household mains circuit is relatively "clean," not too many electrically noisy devices that mess around with the electricity and not too many fuse boxes in the way, Powerline is more reliable than wifi and easier to set up. Just plug it in.
You can even get plugs with a wireless access point as a part of the "remote" plug, the one you connect to with ethernet.

Thank you all for the suggestions
Im going to try first to roll back the firmware, is there any specific one I should try? Then ill be buying the powerline adapter if that does not work
