R7000 nighthawk need to be reset everyday
I use this router for apple TV, Sony phone, iPhone, they are able to connect 5G signal, but I need to reset the router for Macbook pro to search the 5G signal everytime When I need to connect. Is ...

I changed the channel of my 5 GHz from 36 to 153,
changed 2.4GHz to 12,
then my macbook pro is able to connect and search the 5GHz SSID,
maybe I lived in a building apartment,
too many channel are interferred together,
so my iphone can connect but macbook doesn't.
You should check your area with the same channel,
it may affect your connection.

Which device you are having issues? Is it the CM1000 or the R9000? Have it replaced for possible hardware issue.
