I have been using 1.0.7.10 "without noticable issues" ;) (QoS disabled, WMM enabled, enabled "Use Router as DHCP Server", SmartConnect turned off, 2.4GHz and 5GHz on separate SSID, Guest network on 2.4, Traffic Meter disabled, parental controls disabled, IPv6 disabled, UPnP enabled).
I upgraded to 1.0.9.14_1.2.25 and the 2.4 GHz disconnections started :(
Then I downgraded back to 1.0.7.10_1.2.3, but the 2.4 GHz disconnections were NOT solved!
Then I made a hard reset and restored my saved settings (from 1.0.7.10_1.2.3) - NO noticable issues so far for 10 days with 24/7 usage! :)

I agree, disregard this thread. Post on this message instead:R7000 Past Firmware Stability - NETGEAR Communities
The duplicate occurred when the forum displayed an error message that I had not added any labels to this post, and kept me on the compose/post page. So, I added two labels, and pressed post again, only to see it has created two message threads. Sorry, but this is the forum software's fault.
