Unfortunately, that's not a public IP address. This type of IP address usually indicates that your ISP is performing CGNAT. Port forwarding is simply not going to work. Call your ISP and see if they rent public IP addresses. You will need one.
The other option is to connect to a VPN provider. This will get you past your ISP's CGNAT layer.

My ISP does offer free public IP adresses, but I thought I already had that. As I've been able to port forward properly before, it only recently stopped working.
- TheEtherDec 13, 2017GuruYour IP address is what is called a "shared address". It's not a public IP address that anyone on the Internet can reach. If port forwarding worked previously, then your ISP may have recently changed your IP address. There is a shortage of IP addresses; there simply aren't enough to go around. If your ISP is offering free public IP addresses, then call them and ask for one.

Will do. On that note, if I ever have to restore the router to factory settings for any reason, will I have to request a public IP again?
