R7000 QOS Performance Optimization database not updating
I have not been able to update the Performance Optimization Database despite it being set on automatic. In the attached picture, the database is over four years old. I have hit the Update Now button...

That screenshot shows that you have ~200 Mbps Internet. That is not far off the zone that plemans mentions when QOS is more a hindrance than a help.
Are you an avid gamer? Do you see any slowdowns when on line?
If this is a serious issue, the Netgear's gaming routers with DumaOS may be worth trying.
Otherwise, just get on with your life. But be aware that your R7000 dates back to 2017. If speed is really important, something newer might be worth investigating.

The QoS data base services were decommissioned years ago. Newer generation routers Qos is mostly automatic and with 1Gb services being more common these days, QoS may not be really needed.
