I'm on Firmware Version V1.0.4.30_1.1.67. Any other version above this gave me some wireless problems. Yesterday the 5Ghz channel dropped, well it really didn't, it was there but the PC using AC ...

I had your problem before. I had to hold the reset button down for more like 30 seconds. That is why I used to tell everyone to hold it down for at least 30 seconds. I've also had to press the reset button in more than once to get a good reset where the router goes into the initial setup if I didn't hold the reset button in for long enough. Try holding it in longer and see if that does it. You might want to turn the lights back on so you can watch them cycle during the reset.

Well it seems it was a problem with what I used, a pen. I switched to a paper-clip. This time I heard a CLICK when I pressed the button. Assume the pen did it partially and that caused the problem,
However I now have some problems. Can NOT set the e-mail address for log to send to. Says invalid...
However that is the SAME settings as Thunderbird:
Have no idea why this is a problem? Before I reset it I was getting e-mails...
What seems 'wrong' to me is there is no 'TO:'? How would it know who to send it to? Also tried that but it still fails. I also see that most pages the HELP is blank? Might be a problem with the flash so I did it again, flashed, reset, and re-entered settings but this one still fails????

Hi it may not work well with 4.30 firmware.
==========
So looked on-line in support on how to configure since the HELP is blank and found this page, http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/29833. Interesting picture...
Hmm, notice I had only 1 line, 'Your Outgoing Mail Server'. So I entered my data like above. Still failed? So I reversed the 2 lines with the SMTP on the bottom. That worked... or at least it took it. I'll know tomorrow.
Broken Flash it seems...
