R7000 router will only connect to one device at a time (Verizon fios WiFi)
I just purchased a R7000 nighthawk router. I have Verizon fios as my isp. I have two computers hard wired to the router. They are working fine. Unfortunately, I can only connect one item to the W...

I would suggest checking the IP network addressing. If Verizon uses a private IP network with an address of 192.168.1.0/24, you must use a different private network on the R7000 (e.g. 192.168.20.0/24).
If your internet IP address starts with 192.168.1.xxx (where xxx is value from 1 to 254) - this is the problem described above.

It looks like both my IP and my router have addresses starting with 192.168.1. So you are saying I need a new address for the router? How do I change that?
Btw, I called Netgear and they had me upchange my firmware. That helped me get a few more devices on at a time, but I still can't get all of them on at once.

Below are two general links for re-addressing IP network on R7000:
https://kb.netgear.com/24088/How-do-I-change-the-LAN-TCP-IP-settings-on-my-Nighthawk-routerhttps://setuprouter.com/router/netgear/r7000/ip-address.htm
I would try to do it like this:
Select ADVANCED > Setup > LAN Setup.
In the IP Address field, type the IP address:192.168.5.1
In the IP Subnet Mask, type the subnet mask of the router: 255.255.255.0
In the RIP Direction, select: Both
In the RIP Version list, select: Disabled
Leave checked mark: Use Router as DHCP Server
Starting IP Adress: 192.168.5.10
Ending IP Adress: 192.168.5.254
After saving the configuration, the router will reboot (or you to do it). Then power off/power on (or reconnect network cabel/ recoonect WiFi) all devices connected to Router (should receive new IP address starts from range 192.168.5.10 to 192.168.254) (Verizon devices do not restart)
Keep in mind:
Before the change, you will connect to the router at: http://192.168.1.1
After changing the configuration, you will connect to the router at: http://192.168.5.1
Each factory reset will return to network addressing: 192.168.1.0/24
