R7000: streaming mp3 from hd ( USB connected on router )
Google's Chromecast Audio is properly working for streaming music (mp3) from my smartphone to my stereo emplifier . However streaming mp3's stored on a HD attached via USB to my R7000 router is not ...
It may be better off to get a NAS most especially if you have big files.
How big is the external hard drive?
By using a Thumbdrive (attached to R7000) it is possible to stream mp3 with NG Genie!!!!. After installing usb diskdrives it is not possible anymore. May it is better to install a real NAS?
