Thats for the reply.
I got it fixed !
First I connected to the Cable Modem directly and all was fine.
That put me back to it being a router issue.
I started turning off optional items in router.
When I turned off Qos ... My wired and wireless devices were able to connect to the webex test site without timing out or giving me unable to connect to server messages. .
Not sure why ???

I just want to post an update on this issue.
It turns out that my issues returned. Not just with a particular website but other websites as well.
I read the Netgear message Boards and found that if you Clone the Mac address it will fix this issue.
Its hard to believe but it fixed the issue instantly. I need to mention you should reboot your Cable Moden and Router after the change.
I am not sure why this issue just popped up on a 2 + year old router. Probably has something to do with Comcast !

Sounds like an excellent guess. After all, it is the receiving end that checks the Mac address when you connect.. And ISPs can be picky about what you connect.Nice bit of detective work Sherlock.

I have a R8500 router that also has stopped connecting to Webex. I was hoping to try the solution above about cloning the Mac address, but wasn't sure how to go about that. Mind typing out a step by step guide? Thanks in advance! :)- CDeanAug 02, 2021Tutor
First let me say that cloning the MAC address did not fix my issue.
I reset my router to factory defaults to finally fix it.
The R7000 has been so buggy with other issues which caused me to reboot it often.
I just put my old TPLINK router back and I have had no issues.
I now use the R7000 as an access point and it still needs occansional reboots.
Hopefully your R8500 is better !
Choose Networking > MAC Address Clone. In the MAC Address Clone field, check Enable. To set the MAC address of the device WAN port, do one of the following: To set the MAC address of the WAN port to your PC MAC address, click Clone My PC's MAC.
