R7000 Wrong Date/Time after firmware update

I tried all the options given on different forums but no luck. Netgear support gave me beta V1.0.5.49_20151208_timesync firmware which fixed the issue.

Did you factory reset the router after the firmware update? If not then note down all non-default settings, maybe take screengrabs, then factory reset and re-enter settings manually.
If the problem persists then take a look at the router log shortly after powering up the router.

Dear Babylon5,
Thank you for your response. I did factory reset, but unfortunately that didn't help either.
Please see below my router log after the factory reset:

That’s interesting, there could be a few reasons why the NTP request might fail, but the log doesn’t give many clues as to why it failed in this case.
I will contact Netgear support to see if they are aware of this kind of problem.
It might be interesting if you were to revert to the last firmware version you used, if this syncs to the correct date/time then that would indicate that the NTP server is good.

Hi Babylon5,
Thanks for your reply. I'll appreciate if you share the Netgear respone when you get it.
Other than that I have two R7000 routers. One with old firmware and one with the new firmware. Look what I found this morning in my system logs:
New Firmware V1.0.5.48_1.1.79:
