two questions (novice)

I downloaded the app to my samsung phone. i activated the router and connected it to my existing modem

i can see 3 network options, my existing network, Netgear13 and Netgear13-5G

 

i can open the Netgear net works on my computer but the samsung shows the networks but i get authentication error with the Netgear networks.  i can't log on to the netgear networks. any suggestions?

    Use a wired PC connected to the router and log in to the routers web page at 192.168.1.1 and setup the router and Wifi SSID names and give a new password for the names. Configure the SSID name to something different and unique.
