If you connect the old router, will you still get stable connection?
Connect the computer directly to the modem and check if the connection is stable.
If still the same, reset the router and reconfigure.
this is very frustrating!!.. Lately my NetGear router (A900 r7000) is droping connection multiple times a day ( both wireless and wired).
I tried MANY suggestions listed above. I did factory reset, MTU adjustment, security adjustment etc.. But nothing works. and Netgear has not provided any solution.
and whats puzzling is, they want MORE money for support!
any help would be greatly appreciated
