Have you tried the TFTP recovery procedure?

Sorry to not be to your level. So I will give you the exact procedure I did .I took the piece of **bleep** Netgear threw it in the **bleep**ing trash and went and bought a Linksys. Is that detailed enough?

Hopefully you will have good luck with the Linksys. Every consumer grade router has firmware issues it seems. Cannot really check Asus forums for their 'normal' routers only their gaming routers. Others seem to have issues similar to NG. NG does not seem to be testing the firmware before pushing out IMHO. Almost like a it loads so ship it.
