R700P

We have a Netgear R700P router and a Motorola MB8600 Modem which connects to our home network on Comcast.  My question is if I can set up a VPN offered through AURA  so I can access email and use the internet from home?

I tried to just activate the VPN through the AURA  app,  but we were not able to get any email,  but the internet  connection was not affected.    I called AURA customer service, and they  agreed that was the problem. As soon as I disabled the function for the VPN in the AURA app, the email was coming through as usual.

Is there  a procedure  to follow  to set up the VPN with this setup?

Thanks.

VPNs come in different shapes and sizes. They don't all play nicely with routers. The usual source of advice is the VPN supplier. Is that AURA?

I doubt if your ISP is familiar with all of the things that customers throw at it.

The VPN maker knows what hardware can accept its service, and if it needs special firmware on the router. Netgear can't help on that front.

I can find no previous references here to AURA VPN. So there won't be much experience here.
