R7350 Advanced Logs
I bought this router to snoop on my kids activities. The documentation states
Select ADVANCED > Administration > Logs.
The Logs page displays and shows information such as the following:
• Action. The action that occurred, such as whether Internet access was blocked
or allowed.
• Source IP. The IP address of the initiating device for the log entry.
• Target address. The name or IP address of the website or news group visited or
to which access was attempted.
• Date and time. The date and time the log entry was recorded.
However, this is all I'm getting in the log section besides some other garbage
[DHCP IP: (192.168.1.2)] to MAC address E0:98:06:85:AB:1B Sunday, August 08,2021 13:22:05
Is there something that needs to be configured? Or is the documentation just wrong? I'm expecting the website url or ip address at least, not the MAC address

"Get used to disapointment."

access to blocked sites and services" sounds promising, but I doubt that
this (or any) router can deliver what that stuff seems to promise.> [DHCP IP: (192.168.1.2)] to MAC address E0:98:06:85:AB:1B Sunday,

DHCP; nothing to do with web browsing. With modern web browsers and HTTPS, the router can't see this
information, let alone log it.https://community.netgear.com/t5/x/x/m-p/2120717#M20612
I'd guess that software exists which might help if it's installed on
an individual computer/device, but these days it's tough for a router to
do this job.- yalcttocsAspirant
How does this netgear router see the search history then?

"then" is the significant part of that query. Look at the dates on
those log entries. A couple of things have changed since 2011,
including a near-complete switch from (unencrypted) HTTP to (encrypted)
HTTPS.
