R7400 Problem with Readyshare and new Win 11 laptop
I just purchased a new Win11 laptop and can't get it to connect to the drive I have plugged into my router so I can map a drive. I have 3 other computers (2 Win11 and 1 Win10) that see it no problem...
It's finally working. After probably 12 hours of doing Google and MS KB searches I gave up and went to Microsoft support. We did some preliminary stuff, and then I gave him control. Watched him check and recheck things that I'd already done for an hour. Finally, he said let's reset the network. Did that through the control panel, and when things booted up, the router showed up via IP, and so did the shared folder. Simply mapped it, and now all is good. I want to say thanks for all the good suggestions here.

All three are Windows Home. The two older ones (that work) are 23H2, the new one is 24H2.
In the Windows 11 control panel, there is a troubleshooter script for the background intelligent transfer service (Bits). There could be some under the hood changes with 24H2 out of the box installs that negatively impacts readyshare.
